Tink is the creative one and convinced me, vw bug, to give digital scrapbooking a try. After many struggles and lots of phone calls, she has me scrapping like a pro. This blog is to help others thru their struggles on scrapbooking. You and I will ask the questions and she will do her best to answer them. We will also include some fun pages and lessons learned.

Need to Find Some Scrapbook Paper and Elements?
And are not sure where to start? You have a couple of options... One is look to the side bar on scrapbook blogs to see if they have links to others. Two is look for a blog train and start clicking. If you find a scrapper you like, the best bet is to add them to your side bar... UNLIKE me. Who when through the November Orient blog train, found a ton of new scrappers I liked and proceeded on to the next one without book marking them or putting them on the side bar. Now that I want something particular... yaa, I'm on the hunt. Figured it would be a good time to make note of another ORGANIZATIONAL item that I need to work on to be a good scrapper. Sigh. So much work to do!

Good afternoon:)
ReplyDeleteThank you sooo much for stopping by and letting me know that you are praying for Donna and Tionie. That is soo sweet of you!:) I know it is going to be a difficult time for Donna..but the Lord will be with her through it.:)
I was reading again about your trying to organize.I have all my files backed up to EHD's and CD's.I do the CD's because I have had several EHD's go kaput on me.:( I was sooo happy to have the CD's to load back up on the new drives.:)
I have my files categorized too.I have folders..named "elements" "scrapbook kits"..."brushes".."templates" and so forth. Then I found out if I label the files with the designer's name before the name of the item..they are all bunched together according to the designer.Works for me!hehe Have fun organizing!!:)
Thanks for the tutorials! I don't use psp but can open the files in the program I do use...I learn visually too. I can.. most times... look at how something is done and be able to accomplish that in my program too.:) I started out with Photo Impact and have used it ever since.I even have PSE4 but rarely ever open the program..because it would mean having to re-learn everything...and I just don't have that kind of time anymore.:) I do paper scrapping too and card making..when I am not going to the craft stores with my DD.LOL
I hope you have a fantastic rest of your day and thanks again for stopping by.:)
Hugs,
Valinda
