The first thing we need to do is "cut out" the award from the background. You can find out how to do this from either Change to Target or Smidge Here, Smudge there.
At this point you can use as it or add a new layer and drag it beneath the award layer. On the award layer: control+a, control+f, control+shift+f. Selections>modify>expand (I used 15 pixels). Click on bottom layer and flood fill with white to make it look like a sticker.
You can run a script on it. More about scripts can be found at Art for Art's Sake and Follow that Script.
If you are real ambitious or just very creative, you may want to try using the art media brushes and your award as an outline to color/paint your own. (I used crayon, btw).
The art media brushes open their own layer so you don't destroy the original. Which, by the way, you have been making a duplicate to work on instead of the original, right?
Try your hand at any or all of these and have fun scrapping.
