What to journal

When your a scrapping several pages about one event, you may find that you have run out of things to say. Like in my Georgia aquarium series. On a couple of pages, I will be "journaling" about some of the sea life we had seen. On this page I wrote about the sea urchins Indy was posing next to. Their life, what they ate, their enemies, etc.

If it is landscape pages, find out information about the place. Population, how it was named and why, what it produces, and so it goes on. As you look back in the years to come, this will add interest to your memories.

  2. VWBug ... I just discovered this blog doing a trackback from the visitors file at LilyBelle Scraps. I've read several of your recent posts and have to say I find them very interesting and the layouts are great. I will be "following" you from now on. :)

  3. Sue: You are so nice to say something nice about the layout... just wish it was mine!!! It's my sisters. We work on the blog together, though she does most of the posting. I do a lot of looking at other blogs and reading a lot of what she writes to try and improve myself.

LilyBelle: Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I hope you enjoy our blog!

  4. Good morning:)
Thanks so much for stopping by again.I tend to be a little slow at returning the visits..so sorry.:( Life has a way of getting in the way.KWIM?:)
I LOVE your layout of the Georgia Aquarium.I don't know if you know it or not..but it is only about a twenty five or thirty minute drive there from where I live.:) Of course that time extends if the traffic isn't cooperating.hehe
I have a paper and a digital album done from various trips there. One is when my son took his family and wanted me to make a scrapbook album of it.:)My DH read the other day that they are adding dolphins to the aquarium.
I agree that the journaling is important and I really need to keep that in mind. Thanks for reminding me ..again.:)

    Have a FANTASTIC weekend!!

    Hugs,
    Valinda
