As the Bug said, you have all those photos let's get scrapping. But if you are like me you may have hundreds for just one day and there is no way you are going to use all of them. Some are too similar, some just didn't turn out the way you wanted them to. But eventually you may want to go back and use some of those photos, say for a scrapbook for a family member and you don't want it the same as yours. How do you tell which ones you have used without looking through all your scrapbook pages? I use a simple method, but one that works well for me. After I have decided which photos I am going to use I go back and put an "@" sign at the end of the name, i.e., P6080053.jpg becomes P6080053@.jpg. Then when I look back at the folder I can tell exactly which ones have already been used. No fuss, no confusion and no searching.
